Creative Writer, Editor and Translator
I am a final-year Creative Writing student at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. My experiences in both professional and volunteer work are as follows:

- Chinese/Malay to English translation (3 yrs)
- English to Chinese/Malay translation (2 yrs)
- Content writing (2 yrs)
- Data entry (1 yr)
In 2019, I completed a 3-month internship with local publisher Areca Books and joined the UNM Particle literary magazine Fiction team as a junior editor. By 2020, I was promoted to Head of Fiction and placed in charge of a 6-person team. In the same year, I joined CENT Translation as a temporary freelancer and quickly became one of its top-performing employees with a workload of 20,000 characters/week.
Work Terms
Hours: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. (GMT+8), Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays reserved for rushed projects.
Preferred payment terms: Fixed price or hourly. Rates negotiable and subject to complexity and length of project.
