When I founded Caspari Design Group in July, 1992—under the assumed name of Mousetracks—it was a dream come true! Without any clients, or any start-up money to my name, I browsed through the Yellow Pages and local newspapers for companies to call about my services. I made cold calls and introduced myself to local businesses, showing samples of my work. And, before long, my efforts were rewarded with my first real clients and jobs. From then on, by working long and hard hours, my fledgling business grew and prospered—mostly through referrals and repeat business.
