Striving to be inclusive, accessible, and engaging in all I do

Currently an artist, traveler, and bon vivant creating wearable works of art and specialized in forging a creative path through my professional life. From my first real teaching job at a high performing alternative charter school to taking a lead role in creating the first full inclusion Special Education program in Abu Dhabi with side stops in retail sales, writing consultancy, and equine therapy along the way, I have been proud to navigate the road less traveled. Along the way I've held to three guiding principles- inclusivity, accessibility, and engagement. I want to bring everyone to the table, present ideas in a way everyone can relate to, and foster participation that allows everyone to contribute. When not trailblazing my way to a more inclusive world, I can be found in the studio spattered with dye, with my nose in a good book, or in the kitchen making something tasty. Unless there are horses nearby- then I'm definitely in the barn.
