I love to proofread and edit content! I enjoyed a long career as a Sr. Communications Specialist for an international software company, where I handled content for client emails, technical documentation, release notes, PowerPoint presentations, end-of-year documentation, how-to documents, RFPs, and more! Since this was an international company, I learned how to differentiate between US and UK terminology and to work with colleagues in other countries (UK, Australia, Ireland, Dubai).
I have a B.S. degree in English/Elementary Education and an M.S. degree in Reading Education.
I also sometimes do voiceovers, and recently wrote a script, created a video, and did the voiceover for a client who needed a video explaining how to use her website (the video can be found below).
My hobbies and interests include singing and songwriting (my creative writing outlet), traveling, gardening, hiking, and baking (especially anything chocolate)!
