Audio and Music Specialist / Creator of Soundscapes
I have always loved music as a child. Early on, I played the piano and mixed sounds to see what kind of feelings I got from the combinations. I basked in losing myself in the harmonies and melodies created by my piano. As I got older, I realized that it was not enough to just gain bliss from creating something and keeping it for myself. Ever since then, I have never turned back.
I have been trained in classical and contemporary keyboard style piano under Yamaha School of Music Davao, Dauk Music Method and The Royal Conservatory of Music. Wanting to expand my musical training, I went on to study music technology and world percussion (ethnomusicology) at the University of Alberta. In addition to my music degree, I specialized in music production and audio recording at OIART.
When I am in between projects, I work under the artist moniker, Kena Zoro. As an engineer and producer, I am committed to harnessing creativity and a healthy collaborative environment with the artists I work with.
