I hold a degree in Computer Science, a Diploma in Software Engineering, and hands-on experience using MS SQL, Business Intelligence Development Studio to create and implement software and reporting applications and .Net framework technology such as ASP.NET, MVC 5, ASP.NET Web API.
I worked for Electronic Arts Canada. Before that, I worked four a half years, in Chile at Evalueserve Chile SA for the fixed income team of Credit Suisse Bank as Research Lead supporting the client’s teams in the UK, US, Singapore and India. Prior to that, I worked at Quant Capital Pvt Ltd in India as Software Developer for three years. In both of my previous jobs I was responsible for full lifecycle software development, from gathering the initial requirements to design, coding, testing, documentation and implementation.
I enjoy being challenged and working on projects that require me to work outside my comfort zone and knowledge set. I am also very keen on learning new programming skills and development techniques. I have experience working with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, Java Script, JQuery, HTML, Bootstrap Design, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), VBA, .Net, WCF, WPF, JSON, XML; designing, testing, and developing software; thorough understanding of data structures and SQL; I am knowledgeable of back-end development best practices; have hands-on software troubleshooting experience; and proven track record of proper documentation for future maintenance and upgrades.
