Work Terms

Availability & Working Hours
I am currently employed full-time as a MERN Stack Developer at Veclar Technologies, which allows me to offer dedicated part-time freelance services during evenings and weekends. My standard availability is Monday through Friday, 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM PST (GMT+5), and flexible hours on weekends. This timezone alignment allows me to provide overnight development progress for US and European clients.
Communication Standards
I believe in transparent, daily communication through Guru's messaging system. I provide daily standup reports via Guru messages summarizing completed tasks, blockers, and next steps. For complex technical discussions, I am available for video calls scheduled 24 hours in advance through Guru's platform.
Payment Structure
I work exclusively through Guru's SafePay system to ensure complete protection for both parties. My preferred structure is milestone-based payments: 25% upfront to initiate, followed by incremental payments tied to deliverables (Design Approval, Backend Completion, Frontend Integration, Final Deployment). For fixed-price projects under $500, I accept 100% SafePay deposit before starting.
Project Management
I follow Agile methodology with two-week sprints for larger projects, or task-based Kanban for smaller engagements. You will have visibility to a live Trello or Jira board showing real-time progress. Code is committed to your GitHub repository daily with descriptive commit messages. I provide weekly demo deployments on Vercel or Netlify so you can test features as they are built.
Revision Policy
My quoted price includes up to 2 rounds of revisions per milestone to ensure deliverables match your exact requirements. Additional scope changes outside the original agreement will be quoted separately. Bug fixes related to my delivered code are included free of charge for 14 days post-delivery.
