I want to get involved with small start-up/entrepreneurial type mechanical engineering projects as well as any small technical engineering jobs.
I was born and grew up on a farm in rural Zimbabwe and my family and I immigrated to New Zealand 12 years ago. After graduating from the University of Canterbury with a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering I worked for Scott Technology (New Zealand) for 3 years, designing automated production machinery. I have recently moved to Canada to grow my career, diversify my skills and gain international experience in the machine design and development area of mechanical engineering. In Canada I have just started working for Hatch who are a global engineering consultancy, working in the fields of modern mining, renewable energy and infrastructure.
