During the first fifteen years in 2000, Kevin created and developed several food concepts with an interest in transforming communities. Creole Restaurant Music & Supper Club and Make My Cake quickly became the communities’ benchmark model of what is a great marriage among community, live entertainment, art, hospitality and great consistent cuisine. Kevin organized other restaurant owners and created the East Harlem Restaurant and Bar Association. He established the East Harlem Coalition that Cares, which fed 400 families in need Thanksgiving Dinner for four consecutive years. The restaurant concepts were liquidated in 2015.

Kevin Walters earned his MBA in finance at the University of Chicago in 1987. He worked for Deloitte and Citigroup as an auditor and financial controller, respectively. He is currently an adjunct professor teaching economic development, finance, and budgeting and financial management for nonprofits, health & hospitals and government for fifteen years at the following schools: Baruch College, City of New York, Robert J. Milano Graduate School, New School University, and Metropolitan College of New York. Kevin continues to consult business owners and has developed his passion as a business development and turn around specialist and teaching.
