Matt was an outstanding find, and as a result, I would not hesitate using guru.com again. He was a professional throughout -- full of good advice and pleasant to work with. In addition to his technical command of the job at hand, he properly assessed our helplessness and took command of the project. He recommended suitable partners, communicated directly with tech support (sparing me the awkward middleman role), and pushed the project along to completion when at times I felt we were stuck for good. Our project was complicated: an offsite consultant essentially managed an entire T1 migration from many states away, with minimal cooperation from my small, technically-challenged company. There were lots of pieces to the job: firewall acquisition and programming, DNS setup and change, internal network review and update -- He pulled it all off, quoting and updating costs all along the way. This may be common with the top guru.com consultants, but Matt possesses an ideal blend of big-company experience and small-company practicality and hunger. There were times when I was blown away by the breadth of his knowledge. And yet I was emailing him at all hours of the day, and getting responses right when I wanted them. Even as the job was completed, he was sending me my to-do list to ensure the migration was complete, and so that I had records of all he had done. Matt has replaced our local solution, and I'm certain we will use him again.

Extremely knowledgeable about Linux administration and especially MTA's. Good communication and completed the work quickly. Project did exceed total time in hours; however, he offered to not charge for the extra time required. Highly recommended!
