About

I aim to do my job in the best possible way. Yes, I'm a perfectionist =)

I'm Kleo Morgan - digital photo retoucher and photo manipulation artist. I’m striving to fill my life with harmony and aesthetics, that is why I became a Bachelor of Fine Arts and started Photo Retouching career in 2008.

Professional experience in different areas of photography taught me a lot and now I use my mastery in different retouching styles and techniques to implement creative ideas of my clients. Aesthetics of my works is based upon deep understanding of the nature of art and profound feeling of composition and color - skills acquired during my education. I love to see how my work brings mood and style, enhances aesthetic impact and drama of photographs I process.

I tend to work with ambitious individuals and prefer long term partnership. I'm glad to see that class of photographers and companies I work with is growing persistently reflecting that growth of professionalism.

Work Terms

Getting the desired result is mainly a question of correct and clear assignment, because every retouching project is different and includes use of number of techniques. Some of them are very time consuming and greatly affect the quality of the image and the price. The list below can give you better understanding of what is usually done in digital photo retouching.

Most common retouching processes:
Initial corrections: lens distortion, overexposed areas and camera color profile.
Removal of: digital and color artifacts, dirt, stray hair and skin blemishes.
Evening skin-tone and background color.
Light and shade correction.
Enhancing object's volume and scene definition.
Make up, eyebrows and eyelashes retouching.
Making cloth, hair and body neat (correcting not aesthetics folds, curves etc.).
Color correction, toning and grading.
Dodge'n'burn, special effects and finishing.

On my web site you can find Retouching Calculator web application, that can be used to estimate the post processing budget of your project. In general, cost of post processing depends on the requirements for retouching and the amount of photos. In most cases one can say that the more skin is on image - the more work it requires - the higher would be the price.

If you want to know the accurate price, then I would need a couple of source photo previews (JPGs or PNGs) and also a couple of retouched images that you like (e.g. reference images of the retouching style you want for your pictures). Knowing your requirements for retouching I will be able to estimate the amount of work, and will provide you the most relevant pricing information.
