I have written and desktop published newsletters, brochures, marketing materials for a variey of professionals including school districts, teachers, Realtors, engineers, PTA, Girl Scouts, youth organizations, and medical professioanls.
In addition to writing and editing, I have been a home health and hospice nurse (RN) for over 35 years. Patient and caregiver education is a huge passion of mine. I am also an award-winning blogger and author. (TheNursingSiteBlog.com and AboutAgingParents.com)). From 2004-2007, I was the last Guide to Nursing at About.com where I was trained in SEO and effective web writing. My five books include The Everything New Nurse Book 1st and 2nd editions, and The Everything Guide to Caring for Aging Parents. Currently, I am finishing an e-book for health care professionals transitioning to home health care. In the late 90's, I began designing websites and writing for the web. I have 2 websites specifically for home health care professionals and consumers. I
