Music Therapy Intern combining music, technology, and mindfulness together in soul-fueled ways.

Hello! My name is Kristina Twilt, I'm currently in the internship phase of my journey to becoming a Board-Certified Music Therapist (expected to complete Bachelor of Music Therapy with Minor in Psychology Fall 2021). I've been playing piano since the age of 2, video games since the age of 3, and intuitively practicing mindfulness for longer than I can remember.

Music Therapy is not my first career! I already have a BSc Computer Science, and was formerly a Full Stack Website Developer. However, I soon realized that I valued helping people achieve their goals directly. I'm still in the early phases of this career change, and so this Guru platform was created to help earn some extra income as I iterate my way to even more fulfilling work - both for me and you!

I have used MuseScore for a variety of personal, school, and professional projects. I've transcribed a variety of songs for my own personal interest, as well as to help teach some of my piano students songs that they've seen in YouTube videos. As a music therapy intern and a long-time musician, clarity and the target audience are at the top of my mind when transcribing music.

I aim to browse Guru to see if I can help individuals achieve their musical-technical needs. This space in my Bio may be updated to reflect new projects.

Work Terms

As I am currently completing a full-time internship, projects will be worked on over evenings and weekends with updates provided daily, so you can read them over your morning (or late-night) beverage of choice. Payment terms will be communicated via email (please do not call / text unless otherwise specified).
