Administrative & Operations Specialist | Executive Support, Document Management & Process Coordination
I am a highly organized administrative and operations professional based in Trinidad and Tobago, with over 20 years of experience supporting corporate teams, senior leadership, and operational units across insurance, finance, records management, and administrative services. I am known for my strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex workflows in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
My career began in data entry and clerical support, where I developed a solid foundation in document control, database accuracy, filing systems, and customer service. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of organizations, including financial institutions, legal practices, records management firms, and large corporate environments. These experiences strengthened my ability to handle confidential information with discretion, meet strict deadlines, and maintain consistently high standards of accuracy.
I have spent more than a decade at The Beacon Insurance Co. Ltd., where I progressed from Document Management Technician to Document Management Supervisor and now serve as Supervisor and Support Administrator within the Insurance Operations (Property & Casualty) Division. In my current role, I provide technical and administrative support to operational teams and senior executives, including direct executive assistant support to the Vice President of Insurance Operations.
My responsibilities include coordinating projects, managing calendars and meetings, preparing reports, assisting with budget reviews, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring smooth collaboration across departments. I also provide hands-on support with platforms such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and Teamwork Suite, helping teams work more efficiently and stay organized.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies (First Class Honours) from The University of the West Indies Open Campus, along with certifications in records management, general insurance, psychology, and administrative support. I am a firm believer in continuous learning and regularly seek opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge.
