Lauren Gilbert, a Florida native, began her professional career in Atlanta, Georgia, where she designed multi family and mixed-use developments for various firms with budgets ranging from $15 million to $123 million. She founded HESTIA Design Group after deciding to leave the city smog and traffic jams behind and return to the sunny weather of Palm Coast.
She graduated with her Masters Degree in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art & Design and has experience in all phases of design and construction, including multi family, mixed-use developments, retail, and residential projects.
Her design style is in the details. Less is more. A few items or details that create a sense of place speak louder than a plethora of stuff. And, She believes that design is more about intuition and client relationships than what the latest trend is. You are the trend setter.
