It's not enough to love writing, you have to respect the impact that words have. I do have this respect and I want to make mine work for you.
I'm 22 years old, and I live in a place that can't decide if it's a town or countryside, therefore I live on the top of a hill with an industrial area on one side and farms on the other. So, you can't blame me for needing some excitement. This for me is where reading and writing comes in. I am a nerd, I will confess that! I love to learn and making writing my career means I will get to learn all day every day and I literally can't think of anything better than that.
I've been writing professionally for just under 3 months, but don't let that put you off. I'm quite good I promise. I started working for Infinity House Magazine in February and loved every second, for the two weeks I was with them I wrote 30 articles on a variety of topics (Links can be found in my portfolio). Since then I have become a contributor to The Metropolist and The News Hub, as well as gaining a regular copy writing client. I have had great feedback from all my clients and I want to start gaining more.
I also have a degree in Psychology, which I think sometimes gives me a little extra edge when writing articles. I've written quite a few articles in which I've used psychology to give an extra edge on to an already over publicised story. For example 50 Shades of Grey has been one of the biggest events of the season, instead of writing an article about all the steamy bedroom activity which is what everyone else did, I managed to squeeze two out using psychology. 1. 50 shades of grey: Just why is S&M so appealing? So, if you need someone who can turn boring into exciting, and can always pack a punch with every article, then I'm your girl!
Work Terms
Hours of operation are 9am - 6pm GMT, however where time differences are concerned accomodations can be made. Rate = min £1 per 100 words or £3 per hour. I'm happy to write in any tone or style that you need, I'll always tailor my writing to you.
