My journey into the world of illustration, graphic design & web design started at a very young age. My siblings and I used to host family drawing competitions at the dinner table. My parents couldn’t afford toys so we began to draw and cut out our own monsters and fictional characters from scratch paper. Fast forward many years and unsure about how I would make my art profitable, I studied and graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with Cum Laude honors in a degree in Graphic Design and was awarded "Best in Show" for my senior art project. After college I spent a decade working and fine tuning my skills as a web developer and senior graphic artist. I realized that my favorite time of the day was during office meetings where instead of taking notes, I doodled Krakens destroying pirate ships and tornadoes wrestling monsters. This led me to quit my job and pursue my career drawing the monsters that inhabited my imagination when I was younger and the outdoor landscapes that I fell in love with in my early adult-hood.

When taking a break from illustrating or designing, you can find me in my local playground of Southern California climbing the nearest crag, running on the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains, cycling over mountain passes, or taking week-long trips in the Sierra Nevadas.
