About

I craft communications with a conscience. Good marketing moves people, and I'm intent on making it a force for good. Let's make it happen together!

I’m a creative Copywriter with a tendency toward humor and wit. I’m familiar with AP Style, and I’m strongly in favor of Oxford commas. My decade-plus writing career spans industries such as mass media, nonprofits, higher education, and insurance. I've picked up a variety of complementary skills along the way, including: graphic design, web development, e-commerce, fundraising, public speaking, and event production. My business name, Lillapedia Creative Services, is a nod to my "multiple hats."

My work is most influenced by the foundations of content marketing, journalism, and intersectionality. My compassion and empathy make me an intuitive communicator and a vocal advocate for marginalized groups. I believe that if we approach our work with empathy and equity, we just might make the world a better place.

I recently got certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED so I can be more useful in emergency situations. Preparedness is a major principle of my client, Drag-On Group, who subsidized the training. I wrote the company's tagline: "Outlast your apocalypse."

Work Terms

Hours: I enjoy working late at night / overnight. I prefer afternoon meetings; between 11am and 3pm is ideal. Most importantly, I have the freedom to adjust my schedule to accommodate whatever is needed most at the time.

Preferred Communication Methods: Email for most correspondence, video chat for brainstorming or reviewing works in progress, and occasional text messages for more urgent matters or gaining additional clarity.
