I grew up bi-culturally, spending a total of 6 years as a child. My father was an English professor so as a child, I lived there from the ages of a baby of 2 months old till I was 2 years old. My second trip was when I was 12 years old, again for another 2 years. My third trip was when I was 15 and just my father and myself stayed in Japan for another 2 years. Immediately following that trip, I began college at Indiana University where I majored in East Asian Studies-which is studying the cultures of the Orient. In 1988 I returned to Japan to spend a year of sabbatical as an Assistant English teacher. In between 1988 and present, I have done interpreting, teaching and such to a variety of clientele.
Work Terms
Monday through Saturday 9am till 9pm
Projects range in price: Interpreting $35/hour
Translating $25/hour Teaching $15/hour
