Fortunately, I have a lot of writing experience. I've written professionally as a soldier; salesperson; manager; entrepreneur; trainer; and, even a professional athlete! While working as a trainer, I wrote and edited a wide array of training materials, policies, and process improvement plans. Of particular note was my ability to take lengthy, agency-produced material and develop shorter, more impactful local material. My ability to create and refine material is very effective. I was often considered the “go to person” for drafting or editing communications.
I’ve also written many papers for my Bachelor's in Business Administration and Master's in Adult Education. My best paper was about the benefits of second language immersion at an early age. Conducting research and assembling information into logical, interesting reading is very rewarding. Currently, I'm writing and editing a young adult science fiction novel as well as cover letters and resumes for people in business, hospitality, and healthcare. My approach to writing is always purposeful. Knowing and achieving the purpose keeps me on track. Plus, I'm comfortable writing to varied audiences or crafting original thoughts while carrying the reader along purposefully.
