About

My story is definitely an interesting one filled with the trials , tribulations , and sufferings that I have endured from my childhood years to my adult life. My mother passed away in her early thirties, leaving behind six young children. I am the fifth child for my mother. After my mother passed away , the three youngest which includes myself, was raised by my grandfather, my father's father. As far as the other three siblings, one brother was raised in a mutiple of foster homes in London, after my mother was repatriated to leave there, since she was having children back to back and refused to get married to both men who she had childen for. My mother was a native of Jamaica West Indies, where two of her children were born for my father. My mother befriended a man in Jamaica who decided to travel to London in 1955 for employment. According to letters that he wrote to my mother , Mr. Herod Lawrence was extremely fond of my mother and realized how much he missed her that he wrote her in 1960 to join him in London for marriage, and she agreed to travel to London to marry him. In 1960 when Mr.Lawrence wrote and asked my mother to come to London to marry him , she 24 years of age and he was 44, a 20 years differnce between the two of them. My mother also had two small children for my father whom she left in Jamaica when she decided to accept Mr. Lawrence proposal. When my mother arrived in London, she refused to marry Mr. Lawrence for reasons unknown to me. I really do not know what really made her change her mind, possible he did not treat my mother right when she arrived there. A year after my mother arrived in London , she had a child for Mr. Lawrence, and she still did not marry him.
