About

I am very motivated to grow my career towards applying and expanding my knowledge to making a positive impact.

I worked for more than 5 years as Investment Analyst in two US Broker-Dealers in Uruguay (Merrill Lynch and UBS Financial Services), where I focused on managing and allocating funds in our book with a Global Balanced portfolio approach using securities such as individually chosen stocks and bonds, Mutual Funds, Structured Ps, amongst others. I also focused on the preparation of periodic customized product, market, news and trends analysis intended for our clients’ for keeping them informed and educated about their investments. I left this position in 2016 and since then I have been working as a freelancer in Financial Analysis, with a great interest in ESG, Impact Investment, Socially Responsible Investment, and Finance.

I got a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad de la República in 2011 in Uruguay. I got my CFA designation in 2016 after successfully completing the exams and requirements.

Coming from the rural area of an emerging country, being a passionate traveler and having worked in multinational environments I am a very adaptable and versatile person. Additionally, I am tech savvy, fast on execution, extremely detail oriented, reliable and committed to the work I do, comfortable in meeting rigorous deadlines and managing stressing situations, organized and used to working independently and in teams.

The main features I seek in a job or a project are professional development and learning opportunities, challenging projects, dynamism and location/schedule flexibility.
