I am a professional accountant with Big4 experience in auditing several clients across different companies in the financial services industry, for several years coupled with experience in commercial and merchant banking in the areas of accounts payable function and financial reporting. Possess sound and practical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), account reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable and auditing. I have also assisted in the areas of implementing IFRS 9 Financial Instruments software on credit impairment on disclosures in the financial statements.

I have assisted organizations in improving business processes, developed process documents across delegation of authority, receivable policy, provisions and accruals policy, fixed assets procedural manual, standard operating procedures, among others.

I have also prepared financial statements - monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual. I developed daily snapshot and commentary on business operations for management. Also, I worked on general ledger daily monitoring to identify spike or outliers or issues in the GL and for prompt resolution. I have experience working with external and internal auditors, internal control officers, statutory and regulatory agencies.

I am a Master's degree holder in Finance with first degree in Economics and also a chartered accountant.
