Hi, I am Cristina. As an ESL teacher/tutor, I provide sensory experiences to my learners to help them improve their communication skills. I also employ an expressive and optimistic approach when dealing with their struggles and love to establish a warm relationship with them. I strongly believe that commitment and communication create a powerful connection which is a key to upward social mobility.

In 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor in Elementary Education Major in General Education and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers. Although I am already a professional teacher, I am still a life-long learner. Keeping an open mind to learning not only enhances my skills and talents but also turns them into expertise.

Recently, I attended an extensive ESL for Jobs and Business Training by the Department of Information and Communication Technology for my continuing professional development and to broaden my knowledge as an ESL teacher. Through this training, I've learned to use online tools, effective teaching strategies, and new teaching skills that are important in my teaching profession. I have excellent interpersonal communication skills and am confident that I can create a conducive, supportive and positive classroom environment.
