Traveling on a budget doesn’t mean you can’t experience the luxury of a new place. Young travelers care about the heart and soul of a city, I’ll know where to find it.
I started exploring at age 20. I’ve served pancakes to football fans and amber ale to executives. I lived at, worked at, and attempted to spiritually cleanse a rundown Victorian bed and breakfast. I’ve driven through the Rocky Mountains to a cannabis festival where old hippies drove motorized couches through the valley of South Park. I’ve slept in my car for fear I was camping with bears. I’ve held and attempted to play a tuba on the streets of New Orleans. I sold alligator boat tours to nervous mid westerners.I’ve stayed up late at all the oldest bars in Brooklyn, and still manage to wake up and serve those same neighborhood patrons their espresso with oat milk.
