Everything and everyone is graded on line these days. Sometimes the grade is a rating in stars-- as in an Amazon; sometimes it is a review consisting of both numerical marks and short comments -- like the reports on Angie's List, sometimes, as on Google 'My Business' (formerly Google Maps) -- it is a one or two line blurb that appears right next to your company's address when a customer looks up your location. Every rating system can be compromised. Some Review Sites are corrupt, some reviewers are corrupt, and a bad review -- if left untreated -- is like a permanent scar on your public face.
