Writing, research, data entry, and graphic design
I am currently working as a full-time nanny for a 1 1/2 year old, and I do data entry, writing, and other odd jobs on the side to make extra money.
I have a BA in education and gender studies, and I wrote and defended a 230 page thesis as a culmination of my undergraduate work. I pride myself on my writing and research skills. I also have significant experience editing and proofreading.
I have worked in various administrative jobs, doing data entry, emailing, database management, creating spreadsheets, making phone calls, and more.
I took a digital multimedia class in college on a whim, and since then, have quite enjoyed learning more about graphic design. I have created various promotional materials using Gimp 2.0, including fliers for a conference put on by an educational nonprofit, business cards for various friends and family, and a banner for my etsy shop.
Work Terms
I fit my odd jobs in around a 45 hour/week nannying job, but I do have a lot of flexibility. I mostly work during the little one's naps, as well as in the evenings and on weekends. My rates are flexible, but I value myself and will not work for less than my work is worth.
