👋 Hey, I’m Mahmoud Atef – a passionate Software Engineer from Obour City, Egypt, with a love for problem-solving, cloud technology, and bringing ideas to life through code.
My journey began like many others: with curiosity. But what made the difference was how deeply I fell in love with creating solutions that actually work. From building small websites in my early university days to leading award-winning projects like Sakanly, a real estate mobile app, I’ve always believed that good software is about people first, code second.
🌐 Cloud & Azure Are My Playground
Today, my core focus is Microsoft Azure. I’m proud to be AZ-900 certified, and I’ve taken that even further by working on real-world cloud solutions as part of the Digital Egypt Pioneer Initiative, gaining hands-on experience with AZ-700, AZ-104, and even aiming for AZ-305 and AZ-500.
Whether it’s designing secure Azure networks, setting up Active Directory, or optimizing infrastructure — I enjoy the architecture side as much as the code.
📱 Developer at Heart
When I’m not deep in Azure, I’m developing mobile apps using Flutter and web applications using ASP.NET MVC. I’ve built everything from simple Python games to full systems in C++ and C#. One of my proudest achievements is ranking 1st place in multiple university competitions and being awarded The Perfect Student title at my faculty.
🏢 Real-World Experience
I’ve interned at QNB AlAhli Bank’s IT Division, where I learned how real systems work at scale — from databases and Linux servers to enterprise infrastructure. These experiences taught me not just tech, but also how to communicate and thrive in a team.
💬 What I Value
Simplicity over complexity.
Clarity in communication.
Learning never stops.
Giving back through mentorship and community.
🌱 Outside of Tech
When I’m not coding or reading tech docs, you’ll find me designing in Photoshop, managing my YouTube channel, or volunteering for community initiatives — like organizing student orientations and even helping renovate streets in Arish.
I also love participating in tech events like Cairo ICT and DevOpsDays Cairo — not just to learn, but to connect with others who share the same drive.
Let’s Connect!
I’m always open to opportunities, collaborations, or just chatting about tech, productivity, or how to learn cloud computing the fun way.
