Your next deal starts with my first call
My name is Maricris and I'm from The Philippines. I was working as a Real Estate Cold Caller and Appointment setter. For 3 years of experience, I have developed a solid foundation in outbound calling, appointment setting, and objection handling through my roles. I am comfortable working with scripts and CRM software, and performance metrics. My approach combines professionalism, persistence, and a personable tone qualities that are essential for converting into prospects and leads. I understand the importance of first impressions in this business, and I pride myself on my ability to build rapport quickly over the phone. I believe in living with honesty, working hard for my goals, and staying resilient no matter how tough life gets. For me, being truthful builds trust, hard work brings progress, and resilience helps me rise again every time I fall. I grew up seeing people with disabilities and beggars on the streets asking for a small amount of money or food. Whenever I saw them, I would help in simple ways, whether by sharing food or giving a little money because I believed they deserved kindness and compassion. Even though we were not well-off, our parents always taught us the value of giving and showing empathy to those in need. One of my favorite hobbies is cooking, especially Filipino dishes like adobo, sinigang, and Sisig. Whenever I have time, I love to cook for my parents and prepare snacks for them like Turon and Pancit. I also enjoy watching Korean dramas, which help me relax after a long day. Another simple joy of mine is checking on my small garden in the backyard, where I grow eggplants, tomatoes, and onion leeks. For the past three years, I’ve been working in the cold calling industry, handling graveyard shifts. While the schedule can be demanding, I’ve made it a priority to take care of my physical and mental well-being. I make sure to get at least six hours of sleep every day to properly recharge my body and mind. Staying hydrated is also important to me, so I drink plenty of water throughout my shift and afterward. I try to maintain a healthy diet by eating fruits and vegetables as much as possible, and I make time to exercise at least three times a week unless I’m extremely busy or pressed for time. On my days off or during quiet moments, I enjoy the simple things that bring me peace and happiness, like playing with my dog, watching Korean dramas, or listening to my favorite music to help me relax and reset. These habits keep me grounded and help me stay focused, positive, and resilient, even during the most challenging workdays. I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to work from home. Despite the late hours, being able to provide for my family while staying in the comfort and safety of my own home is something I truly value. Working remotely has allowed me to be more present with my loved ones, manage my time more efficiently, and create a healthier balance between work and personal life.
