• Defense & Security Focus: Proven experience in mission-critical environments, including senior roles at COBHAM Corp. and CME Inc. This background includes successfully managing projects requiring US Security Clearance, specializing in robust designs for Military Power Supplies, RF Transmitters/Receivers, Military Network Systems and Vehicles, and specialized charging systems.
• Precision Optics & Sensing: Deep expertise in developing highly sensitive products from the ground up, gained through five years at Ocean Optics Inc. This includes the design of Spectrometers, UV & VIS Light Sources, Laser Sample Chambers, Probes, Fiber Coupling Devices, and precise Mirror and Lens Mounts.
• Analysis & Simulation Mastery: A specialist in structural and thermal integrity, proficiently utilizing high-end tools like ANSYS, Comsol, and SolidWorks Simulation for rigorous Thermal, Stress (FEA), Shock, and Vibration Analysis.
• Manufacturing Readiness: Dedicated to quality and documentation, responsible for producing accurate Detail Drawings (ANSI Y14.5-1994), defining complete Hardware Specifications, Tool Design, and overseeing Manufacturing Control and Data Management (PDMWorks).

Work Terms

Hours of Operation: Highly flexible, generally aligned with client's US time zone (EST/CST/PST) for synchronous meetings and communication.

Payment Terms: Standard terms are Net 15 days from the invoice date. Project payment structure is Hourly Rate or Fixed-Price based on negotiated scope.

Preferred Communication: Email for general inquiries and project documentation. Scheduled virtual meetings (Zoom/Teams) for design reviews and formal discussions.
