First Verse Studios is owned and operated by Mark Eschbach. Mark is an audio engineer, composer and AV designer with over 30 years of professional experience in live sound, studio recording, composition, AV design and holds multiple certifications.
First Verse Studios is designed to make recording high quality audio easy and inexpensive. Featuring an all digital setup in an accurate control room, FVS can accommodate all kinds of audio projects such as multitrack mixing, solo recording, voice overs, sampling, sound design, composition and more!
Mark has over 30 years of audio experience and a degree in Sound Design. He currently holds certifications in Extron and Dante technologies.
Between 1999 and 2016, Mark has worked as a Multimedia Technician in the Electronic Music Lab, Adjunct Faculty teaching Electronic Music I and II, Theater Technical Coordinator and Audio / Video Engineer at Scottsdale Community College.
From 2007 to 2009 he worked at Tempe Center for the Arts as their audio engineer where he worked with entertainment greats such as Cloris Leachman, David Spade, Stephen Ashbrook and Michael Reagan and assisted local talent such as TLT, Childsplay, ConderDANCE and RosenkransDance.
Mark returned to Scottsdale Community College as the lead Audio Engineer in the Performing Arts Center in 2010. In 2016, Mark transferred to Mesa Community College where he worked in Media Services and continued audio engineering as well as performed classroom installs and gained various AV certifications.
In 2019, Mark moved to Washington state to take a position as Media Services Manager at the University of Puget Sound. He successfully led a team that fully implemented Extron's GVE software, updated various classrooms and event spaces and designed new technology for the campus. Mark is also adjunct faculty at Scottsdale Community College teaching Digital Music for Dancers.
Over the years, Mark has worked around the country with churches, theaters, colleges and businesses in audio production and AV technology and has also recorded and produced commercials and PSA’s for radio and television. Mark has over 20 years of audio experience and a degree in Sound Design. He currently holds certifications in Extron and Dante technologies.
Mark has performed countless live voice overs for live events. He has 4 modern dance albums on iTunes, Spotify and other platforms. He has worked for Universal Studio Japan, the City of Gilbert, AZ and various individuals providing original music compositions
Work Terms
For audio editing, recording, mixing and mastering of voice over or provided audio; $60 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. For music composition, $60 per minute of final run time with an agreed upon end date.
