Mark Giles has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles for publicly traded and privately held companies, in roles that exposed him to challenging circumstances from the perspectives of business leader, advisor, and lender.

Prior to starting Blue Trail LLC, Mark was a Senior Director at a regional business advisory firm where he led several critical engagements, including the restructuring and sale of a privately held franchisor / manufacturer of home organization products. He previously led finance & operations for a private equity backed medical device manufacturer, and spent 10 years with Steelcase in a variety of roles including dealer development, corporate strategy, and operations finance. His tenure at Steelcase included guiding business unit leaders through the M&A process, structuring debt & equity financing for dealer transitions, performing business appraisals (valuations), and providing buy/sell advisory services to dealer principals.

Earlier in his career, Mark worked in information systems auditing and consulting with PwC (Coopers & Lybrand) and Ally Bank (GMAC).
