I have worked in the retail real estate (shopping center) industry for 30+ years in deal making, strategic planning, financial analysis and organizational management areas, with both small private and large public retail companies. I am able to offer my expertise and experience to emerging and growing retail and healthcare companies, as they evaluate their current real estate assets, plan for the long range disposition of those assets and consider the future growth of their bricks and mortar business. My capabilities include a deep dive SWOT analysis of existing properties evaluating both the physical and financial health of the asset; designing internal decision making and deal negotiating processes; financial sales and performance modeling; creating new store deployment strategies at a market, trade area, center/neighborhood and site level; and, approaching real estate growth with a focus on an understanding of the businesses core customer, where they live/work/play and how that customer can be best served by intelligent and strategic real estate location planning and execution.
I am readily available for either regular business hours or off hour consulting and/or travel to HQ locations, specific markets/sites as well as home-office research and analysis. I am flexible with my communication methods and will adapt to my clients current systems, to report and present findings and recommendations. I will engage on a contract basis at the core rate of $200 / hr. plus reasonable travel expenses. A negotiated term of work for a limited duration with a transition to future gratis consulting provided a national master brokerage and tenant representation contract can be agreed to, for future real estate transactions.
