Love to write.

I am one of those "since I was a kid I loved to write" type of people.

I worked for 12 years as an advertising representative where I managed real estate accounts for a northern California newspaper and one of the most enjoyable parts of the job was when a client needed me to write ad copy. Loved to tour homes then get to describe it to our readers.

I left the paper just as companies were starting to get their own websites. It was very exciting but it was also during the time when websites spent a majority of their time down and being worked on! I think the variety of media that have become available since my newspaper days is exciting and the potential fantastic.

I recently ventured into the freelance writing arena. I have written articles and blog posts based on material from client podcasts, wrote up the answers for the FAQ section of a website, and a company newsletter. I am new to this but am loving the experience.

I did publish an e-book available on Amazon. "Observations on Life from a Former Mermaid" is a collection of essays from my own blog that I had created. I do want to start another blog and will update this site when I do just that.

Work Terms

I would not be available Thursday through Saturday since I work those days out of state. My work terms would depend on the size of the job and the deadline, so I believe that may vary.
