I grew up loving the way stories and complex ideas are woven out of a collection of letters. Over my 20 years as a professional – I learned that most people have a slight phobia of writing. They lack the confidence (or practice) to compose a well written proposal – and that is where I step in. Over the past 20 years I have worked for non-profits and private sector firms writing grants, marketing campaigns, assisting with the development of primary and secondary school curriculum (in French) for developing countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and Haiti, website/marketing/television copy writing, writing for legal and financial professionals, plus anything else needed by the executive staffs. In the private sector I worked for an energy based lobbying firm and translated the engineer’s complex ideas into “normal every-day English” so investors and politicians could understand the ecological and economic need for green energy. I also have six-years of financial writing expertise. As an Executive Assistant to the Senior Credit Officers in Utah, Wyoming and Montana – I proofread every commercial loan application over $1 million, and my managers would suggest grammatical changes to the originating loan officer. I acquired legal writing skills while working in a law firm and decided against applying for law school. While working for the International Television and Programming departments of an East Coast sports marketing firm – I realized that I had a talent and skill for writing that most do not possess.
