As math textbook editor:
Expertise in editorial development and production of middle school and high school math textbooks, including organizing curriculum, editing manuscript, and producing art.
• Skilled in proofreading, copyediting, and checking clarity and readability, as well as reviewing content, writing/rewriting, and checking math. Expert in tech art.
• Experienced in editing material to meet the CCS Standards, targeting specific math topics, applying writing guidelines, scoring rubrics, and test-taking techniques. Familiar with the new question types from PARCC and Smarter Balance.
