I have 20 years of experience as a professional software engineer. I started out as a Perl and PHP web developer in 1995, after learning C in the early 90s. After grad. school, I became bored of web development, so I learned Objective-C and began writing iPhone apps in January of 2009. I've been an iOS developer ever since.
Lately, I've been focusing exclusively on writing iOS apps in Swift, which is much more enjoyable than Objective-C. I'm skilled with all aspects of app development, from creating animation-rich interfaces to creating persistence with Core Data or SQLite to networking and consuming RESTful web services.
I'm passionate about writing legible and maintainable code. I also have strong verbal and written communication skills.
