Mike is a husband for seven years, a father to a four-year-old Star Wars fanatic/drummer boy and to an adorable four-month-old princess. Mike is a filmmaker at heart, and a musician and a visual artist by process and design.Mike has been working in the creative visual arts industry for 18 years. A Music (BM Percussion) and a Visual Arts (BFA Visual Communication) major during his academic days where he taught drums part-time and sold self-assembled computers to pay for education costs. After college, Mike’s venture to the “professional” world was an exploratory adventure. He started his career in the arts as a designer and developer in the then-emerging web industry. He took a brief hiatus from the arts and tried out a corporate-marketing job in the automotive industry but soon found himself back in the creative media production industry, filling various roles such as: animator, art director, creative director for various projects & companies.Though he has been doing film/video projects as a hobbyist since he was eight years old, his first professional venture into filmmaking came at age 29 when he invested in a post-production house along with his childhood friends. He has been making films, TV shows, commercials, documentaries, animations and videos since then.
