Dr. Md Nazirul Islam Sarker is a Professor at the School of Public Administration, Xi’an University of Finance and Economics, China, Visiting Professor at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh, and Adjunct Research Professor at IUBAT, Bangladesh. He was an Academic Fellow at the School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia, and an Associate Professor at the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Neijiang Normal University, China. He received Ph.D. from Sichuan University, China. He has obtained PhD from Sichuan University, China. He has obtained Bachelor in Agriculture, Master in Agricultural Extension, Master of Business Administration, Diploma in General Banking, and Diploma in Islamic Banking.
He is also listed among the top 2% of scientists in the world by Stanford University, USA. He has more than 17 years of experience as an academician, agricultural expert, administrator, and scientist. He has published more than 175 scientific articles, including journal papers, books, book chapters, and conference papers. His research includes agricultural economics, resilience, vulnerability, social issues, governance, public policy, and sustainability. He is an academic editor of BMC Public Health, BMC Research Note, BMC Environmental Science, BMC Agriculture, PLOS One, PLOS Sustainability and Transformation, Sustainability, Sage Open, and Frontiers in Psychology.

Work Terms
