I am determined to get as much experience as possible and to diversify. I take pride in my work and I strive to meet my clients' needs.

I am currently studying a BCom: Marketing Management (Business Management and Economic Sciences) degree and I have decided to join Guru in the hopes of finding people who are willing to take a chance and give me the opportunity to improve and diversify my work experience.

I am an extremely hardworking person who is also a member of the Golden Key International Society. I am a leader, but not necessarily by choice - people turn to me for guidance more often than not. A challenge is what I am looking for and I am known to be a risk-taker, but I also know when to be cautious.

I absolutely love the outdoors, because it brings me peace. I love to snorkel, hike, camp and my favourite place to be in nature is under the sea scuba diving. I am also very passionate about business and it started at a very young age when my father lost his job.

Work experience is very important to me and that's why I am here. I interned at BoomTown, a marketing company in Port Elizabeth, where I was given the opportunity to brainstorm advertising ideas for a company called Lion Match as well as present them to the board, with my team. I was the youngest out of all of the interns, in fact, I was still in high school! I feel that this story is very important to share, because BoomTown took a chance on me and at the end of the internship they were surprised and impressed with my performance. In addition to the BoomTown internship, I also have experience in promotions where I promoted products for Aspen.

Currently, I am working as a tutor for English and Business Management. I enjoy my job very much, but I would like to do something that is more along the lines of my field of study.

Work Terms

I am a full-time student looking for a part-time job. I have a very flexible timetable, which will allow me to work for at least 30 hours/week - this may include weekends depending on the job. Payment terms can be discussed at a later stage.
