Hey~ I just started here on GURU! But I am not a newbie to translation work.
Languge skills:
I am a native to China, born and raised in Guangdong, which means I am familiar with mandarin chinese and cantonese, simplified and tranditional in writing.
Also, I have lived and traveled in North America for 5 years, speak and write fluent American English.

I hold a master degree in Fine art of marketing from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Currently working as a senior global marketing counsel for international companies, which includes a small share of translation and conmmunication work, social media content copywriting and management, fortuantely enough with flexible schedule and some time to travel the world.
Furthermore, I am an active member of the expat community in China and of an english book club, passionate about linguistics(learning french since Augest 2019) and self-improvement in life in general, doing translation is both an awarding and a relaxing side job to me.
