Develop solid models of parts, drawings, assemblies and plant layouts.
Supply .iges and .step files to be uploaded into CNC machines.
Able to come to your shop or your customer’s plant depending on requirements and take measurements, work from provided sketches, or verbal instructions.
Using the most up-to-date 2018 SolidWorks create part models and turn those into working drawings.
Convert AutoCAD drawings into 3d models and convert those drawings back into AutoCAD files for your use.
Provide full G, D, & T on drawings including welding symbols.
Provide forward or reverse engineering on parts.
Use created parts and fit those parts into assemblies to verify fit and function and create bill of materials.
Able to perform Solidworks simulation on parts and generate reports.
Create a library of your drawings on your server or cloud MAINTAINING CLIENT non-disclosure. You own your drawings; I will not share with anybody else unless directed by your company in writing.
Capable of using Faro CMM including Laser scanner to reproduce parts and perform inspections using the latest GeoMagic Design X, GeoMagic and CAM10 inspection and design software.
Convert laser/probe mesh into solid models.
Use of portable Positive Material Identification to non-destructively identify current material of construction and offer possible upgrades of construction.
Use of hardness testers, surface profilometers, and coating thickness gauges to accurately duplicate reverse engineered parts.
From small parts to large plant lay-outs.
Current Software: Solidworks 2018, Geomagic Design X, Faro CAM10 inspection, Geomagic inspect, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat X Pro, Adobe Illustrator and other Microsoft software such as excel, access, word, paint, etc.
Work Terms
I am willing to work anytime 24 hours a day. I do have the choice of doing my work at my normal day job (engineer). I am working to become independent. Willing to work for much less than anyone else because I love doing it and it is supplemental income.
