About

Taking a dive at some extra work and apply my skills to a company that needs them.

As a teenager, I started my professional life within the accounting world in the automotive business. It taught me many aspects of the daily business, but nothing more important than excellent organization skills and the understanding of a team atmosphere.

In 2003, I moved to Las Vegas, where I started a different path in the retail business. While this particular field did not strike my fancy in the long-term, I cannot dismiss the luxuries it taught me. The most important is the people skills I learned that helped me establish customer service above the common norms.

The various dealerships, Desert Dodge Chrysler Jeep, United Suzuki and United Dodge, and Team Ford Lincoln, all honed the accounting, organizational, and team building skills that I originally established as a teenager and through the years working in retail on the Las Vegas Strip.

In 2011 I decided to go back to school to complete my degrees in Liberal Arts and Journalism & Mass Communications. With these degrees I hope to establish a career within either the publishing, editing, marketing, or promotional fields. My long-term goal is to help utilize my creative drive with the education and experience I have received over the years.

In October of 2014, I returned to Houston, Texas to finish my degree and spend more time with my family. However, as of the start of 2015, I will actively pursuing a career in one of the above fields. I am looking for a company that will not only embrace the many years of experience, but also allow for use in a more creative aspect.

On February 2, 2015, I started a new career path as software educator at Reynolds and Reynolds. The great part is that I get to spread my wings and learn the software side of the automotive business while still being able to utilize the knowledge I acquired over the years working for dealerships.
