I’m a professional multimedia specialist with expertise in audio engineering, specializing in video post production (I can professionally record, mix, edit and master audio remotely). I also specialize in music composition and arrangement. My broad range of abilities in these fields significantly contributes to my work flow efficiency & creative processes.
Background:
I studied classical piano and music theory at The Brooklyn Music School and I received additional music training and audio training from Cornell University and the Institute of Audio Research.
I gained hands-on studio experience from various recording studios in New York City and Philadelphia. Here are some notable ones:Worked for Grammy Award winning producer film composer Stuart Matthewman of Sade as a production assistant at Cottonbelly Productions located in New York.Freelanced for the singer/songwriter Adam Marano as a Music (MIDI) Programmer at VIP records located in Philadelphia.Freelance engineer for Emmy Award Winning sound engineer Tom Paul at Gigantic Post - a postproduction facility in New York.
I am currently the Music Director for Moving Mountains founded the actor Jamie Hector (The Wire, Bosch, Queen of the South).
My project studio has state of the art equipment. I work primarily on and have expertise using a Pro Tools DAW but am efficient in Logic Pro X and Ableton Live as well. I utilize software synths, analog synths and acoustic instruments for music production. I play multiple instruments - piano, guitar, bass, drums. Finally I also arrange, compose, transcribe and generate sheet music using Finale.
