I have been working in BI since 2003. Started out with Crystal Reports, then spent 10 years working with IBM Cognos. At one stage I taught all the courses associated around the IBM Cognos. Data modelling, reporting and data analysis courses. I then spent 8 years managing BI teams. Six years managing in a Managed Healthcare environment and two years as BI Operations manager for a national retail chain with over 2500 branches. I enjoyed management but took a decision to follow the technical route. I am now a BI Technical Specialist. Ready to get my hands dirty in whatever is required. Building dimensional data warehouse marts, ETL or just SQL development. I also develop reports primarily in BIRT in recent times but I have experience with a number of reporting platforms.
Available for part time work. 3 hours a days and always willing to ramp it up to meet deadlines.
