Mubarek Yesse Ashemo
I am Mubarek Yesse, a graduate of BSc. In Public Health from Wachemo University in 2016 G.C., and Master's of Public Health in Epidemiology from Hawassa University in 2019 G.C. Currently, I am a third-year PhD student in Epidemiology at Jimma University. Previously, I have been working as a lecturer in Wachemo University and as a lecturer, researcher, and dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Werabe University. I completed the very effective "CEGA-EASST Impact Evaluation Training," which was delivered over four months, from Nov. to Feb. 2023. I have also been advising public health master's students from different institutions. I have been advising more than 30 Master's Students from different higher education institutions. Currently, I am advancing my experience on data analysis using SPSS, STATA, R, and Python software, developing advanced grants and proposals, and writing internationally acceptable manuscripts.
I am an epidemiologist and I want to provide my skills to conduct any advanced research and projects. I have a tremendous desire to become a promoted epidemiologist so that I may aid the country by producing relevant and trustworthy evidence and research findings. The current advanced analysis models required to deal with new and re-emerging diseases, as well as abundant pandemics, necessitate strong data analysis capability. Modeling diseases, showing spatial variations of events, and analyzing outcomes in more robust models have been current scientific interests. As a result, I am confident and hopeful that this opportunity is particularly relevant to me. I have finished my coursework for the Ph.D. program, and I am now free and eager to work with any institution deemed relevant.
