My mission is to help improve other people's writing using my editing/proofreading skills.

My passion is editing/proofreading. I find mistakes in everything I read, and enjoy improving what other people write so that they can be proud of what they have written.

I am currently a freelance editor/proofreader, but I am going to school to obtain my Bachelor's degree in English so that I can become a professional editor/proofreader. I have over 12 years experience editing/proofreading for my mother's home-based business. She recently retired, and I am looking for more work. I have also been listed as editor in a couple of books written by friends, and am working on one that was just recently finished.

I love to read, and I do a lot of reading in my free time. I also love helping other people, and one way that I found I can do that is by using my talents for finding errors to help improve what they write. By editing/proofreading, I am able to focus on the small details of a piece so that the writer can focus on the content of what they are writing. This allows them to focus on their area of expertise, and me to focus on mine.

Work Terms

I am currently available to work any time as my classes are online and my schedule is flexible.

My preference for payment is through PayPal.

I prefer to communicate through messaging on the site or through email.
