Creating a positive, encouraging, and joyful musical journey!

Originally from upstate New York, embarked on a journey that led her westward in pursuit of her passion for film scoring. With a strong foundation in music education, began teaching music fundamentals, theory, composition, and introductory piano in 2007, For several years worked for Huntington Beach School district and continued teaching at public schools in California and Arizona, for a total of 10 years. Teaching platforms has included both 1 to 1 instruction and classroom settings. Those taught span from young students as little as 4 years old to seniors, showcasing adaptability and dedication to fostering musical talents across generations.

Lesson Rates

$35/30 minutes
$45/45 minutes
$60/60 minutes

ㅁ In Home Rates:
$45/30 minutes
$55/45 minutes
$70/60 minutes

Schedule & Attendance
ㅁ Weekly Lessons: Students receive one to two lessons per week at the scheduled time
ㅁ Canceled Lessons: 48 hour prior notice required. Make-up lesson possible based on availability

Excused absences include: illness, family emergency
Please communicate and we can discuss the situation case by case
ㅁ No Show/Last minute Cancellations: are not refunded/credited

Practice Expectations
ㅁ Students are expected to practice 30-60 minutes per day, 6 days per week
β€’ Books/materials must be brought to each lesson

Required Materials
ㅁ Pencil
ㅁ Manuscript Paper (theory)
ㅁ Piano Method books (performances, scales, theory)
ㅁ Binder (for supplemental music material, such as music theory homework)

Termination of Lessons
β€’ A 30-day termination notice is required when discontinuing lessons for any reason, in order to not be charged for the following month’s lessons
β€’ Teacher reserves the right to discontinue lessons due to lack of practice, repeated absences, or behavior issues
