Hi! I'm a lifelong learner and educator with a special fondness for language. For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed learning new words, playing word games, and finding the best way to say something. That's part of why I chose English as a second teaching field in college, stayed up late reading the dictionary, and wrote usage articles for HubPages.

Throughout my professional career, I've scored standardized tests, created and sold educational materials, tutored students in their homes, and substitute taught at some of the district's elementary schools. I try to draw on those experiences when I work with clients who need a second pair of eyes on their work.

Besides my professional experience, I've also spent time volunteer teaching adult ESL students and proofreading manga translations for a fan site. The most rewarding aspect of my volunteer experiences was knowing that I was able to share my knowledge with others and then watch them work with what they learned.
