I am a journalist with more than three decades of experience covering politics, public policy, governance, and human-interest stories. Over the course of my career, I have reported extensively from conflict zones, including Manipur and Jammu & Kashmir, bringing ground-level perspectives to some of India's most challenging issues.

I have also covered numerous national and international chess championships. A former national-level chess player myself, I bring a deep understanding of the sport and its nuances to my reporting.

I served as Executive Editor and Chief of Bureau at The Pioneer, one of India's leading multi-edition English dailies. Earlier, I spent eight years with The Times of India, where I covered a wide range of political, social, and investigative stories. In addition, my work has appeared in several international publications.

Beyond print journalism, I am a regular commentator on Indian television news channels, where I provide analysis on politics, current affairs, and national issues.

I am equally proficient in long-form features, news reports, editorials, interviews, and analytical pieces.
